The Tamahere Country Club is a state-of-the-art facility, carefully designed with every detail thoroughly thought out to create New Zealand’s best retirement village.
The retirement village was originally set to accommodate 93-units, but due to the high demand, ballooned to 252 homes.
With a lengthy waiting list, the village is one of New Zealand’s most prestigious, constructed to the highest possible level with architecture that will stand out for years to come.
The Country Club is set across expansive grounds in Hamilton, offering residents access to exceptional facilities, including a driving range, cinema, library, health spa and the Mixture Café.
The entire village has been designed to promote a community feel, with a variety of spaces available on site.
Our Specification Team were brought in on the project to create a solution for the Mixture Café; one that would provide acoustic benefits but would also complete the design of the build. Crafted with the specific needs of its residents in mind, our team worked closely with Turner Road Architecture and Urbane Lounge Interiors to come up with an ideal ceiling solution.
Dbsorb’s range of acoustic tiles were the perfect fit for the space, offering high acoustic performance and a natural wood grain texture.
These tiles are also 100% recyclable in New Zealand and made from around 60% recycled products, and installation is hassle-free, slotting into suspended ceiling grids with no glue or fixing mounts needed.
Dbsorb offers custom sizing, with the featured panels measuring 12mm x 1200mm x 600mm, sitting in a Black Armstrong Silhouette Grid.
