The Harvey Norman store is located in the Lifestyle Centre of Tauranga’s newest regional shopping centre at Tauriko. Initially, Tika Interiors Tauranga approached our team to suggest tile options for the new store. They needed a high NRC, cost-effective tile, and after several recommendations, we chose the Eurocoustic Minerval Tile due to its features, benefits, and price point.
The Minerval 12mm tile from Eurocoustic is a rigid, self-supporting ceiling tile. Utilizing unique stone wool technology, the Minerval Tile provides an acoustic absorption performance of AW 0.90 making it ideal for spaces where sound control is important. The panels are lined with decorative white tissue on the visible side and natural glass fibre tissue on the reverse side, ensuring perfect and permanent rigidity. They are lightweight, easy to install, and have a Group 1S classification. The Tile has a light reflectance coefficient of over 86%, which helps in enhancing the brightness of a room.
Mineral wool is recyclable, and the vast majority of production waste is recycled. The recycled content of the mineral wool of our Minerval® A 12 panels is 23%.
Weighing only 1.3kg/m², these tiles help reduce the seismic engineering required and fit standard 1200mm x 600mm or 600mm x 600mm grid systems, available with either a Square Edge or Tegular Edge finish.
